2005 : Helios Airways Flight 522, crashed in the hills near Grammatiko, in Greece, resulting in the deaths of 121 people on board.
2021 : Haiti earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2, hit southwestern Haiti, at the Tiburon Peninsula, in the Caribbean. Up to 2,248 people were killed, and total damage between $1.5 to 1.7 billion USD.
