1848 : The 1st known photojournalism photograph was taken, when the June Days uprising staged by French workers in Paris, France, was photographed. The black and white photograph featured a street scene showing barricades on rue Saint-Maur during the uprising.
1852 : ANTONi GAUDí the Spanish architect was born Antoni Gaudí i Cornet in Reus or Riudoms, Catalonia, Spain (died in 1926 aged 73). He is best known for designing Park Güell, and the church of the Sagrada Família, in Barcelona. Official websites : SagradaFamilia.org | ParkGuell.barcelona
