1848 : The 1st known photojournalism photograph was taken, when the June Days uprising staged by French workers in Paris, France, was photographed. The black and white photograph featured a street scene showing barricades on rue Saint-Maur during the uprising.
1852 : ANTONi GAUDí the Spanish architect was born Antoni Gaudí i Cornet in Reus or Riudoms, Catalonia, Spain (died in 1926 aged 73). He is best known for designing Park Güell, and the church of the Sagrada Família, in Barcelona.
