1908 : MEL BLANC the American voice actor was born in San Francisco, California, USA (died in 1989 aged 81). He is best known for the voices of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and many of the other characters in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons during the popular golden age of American animation from the 1930s to the 1960s.
